Overview

SandboxSched is a Kubernetes-native, high-performance, multi-runtime scheduling system for AI Agent sandboxes. It fits into existing Kubernetes clusters and reaches millisecond scheduling latency with 5,000 sandboxes per second through two-phase, parallel, and hardware-affinity scheduling, while staying compatible with current Kubernetes infrastructure. Northbound, it exposes the OpenSandbox and E2B SDKs together with native Kubernetes access. Southbound, it supports Kata, E2B, and other runtimes, providing an isolated environment for Coding Agent, GUI Agent, and RL Training workloads.
